Eligibility Criteria
A good Master's degree in any child-related discipline. A candidate applying for admission into a Doctoral Degree programme at Africa University must possess a Master's degree in the relevant field of study, and must provide official transcripts evidencing coursework at Masters level and a minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (B) or equivalent at Masters level. All doctoral applicants must provide a copy of their Master's dissertation as evidence of research accomplishments; the CSSTHE Board will recommend for admission applicants who obtained a Master's degree by research. Applicants must submit a Motivation Statement in English and will be required to have an interview with the CSSTHE, conducted in English.
Application process
Apply online via the Application Portal (acacia.africau.ac.zw/signup) after choosing up to 3 programmes from africau.edu/program. Create an account, submit certified copies of certificates/transcripts, and pay the application fee. If successful, sign and return the Provisional Offer Letter (international students must also apply for a Study Permit and Student Visa). Pay fees in full to secure the offer, then register on the dates listed on the Academic Calendar, bringing original certificates for verification, 2 passport photos, and an X-ray report from a physician.
