Don Bosco Technical College

Don Bosco Technical College is a Catholic technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institution located in Hwange, operating from one main campus. Run by the Salesians of Don Bosco, it is the only dedicated TVET college in Matabeleland North Province, serving students from the surrounding mining communities and across Zimbabwe. The college offers HEXCO-accredited trade programmes alongside O-Level and A-Level studies, providing learners with practical, industry-relevant skills in a supportive and values-based environment. Guided by the Salesian educational philosophy of nurturing the whole person through a "home, school, church and playground" approach, Don Bosco aims to develop competent professionals, responsible citizens, and ethical leaders. Through its commitment to technical excellence, character formation, and community service, the college continues to play a vital role in expanding access to quality vocational education and skills development in Zimbabwe.
