School of Hospitality and Tourism

The School of Hospitality and Tourism (SCHOTO) is a specialised vocational training institution located in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, recognised as a leading centre of excellence for hospitality and tourism education in the country. Operating from one main campus at the corner of Park Road and 12th Avenue, SCHOTO focuses on developing practical skills for careers in the hospitality, culinary, and tourism industries. The institution offers National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND), and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in areas such as Professional Cookery, Culinary Arts, Bakery Management, and Rooms Division. Through industry-focused training, practical learning, and skills development, SCHOTO equips students with the competencies required to succeed in Zimbabwe’s growing tourism and hospitality sector while contributing to employment creation and service excellence.
